Complex façade designs are our passion. Our intelligently engineered and combined units enable extraordinary forms. A prime example is the inclined, hyperbolic façade surface of the European Central Bank in Frankfurt. To realise this unconventional façade design, seele developed an economical and practical solution. The key innovation: exclusively straight elements were installed at an angle of 2 degrees along the vertical axis. This scale-like arrangement results in a perfectly homogeneous appearance, achieving the curved façade design without the need for asymmetrical units.

Our double-skin façades are more than building envelopes – they are highly developed systems that perform multiple functions: effective sound insulation, reduced heat loss, and efficient solar and glare protection. A particularly innovative solution is ISOshade® – the façade unit with sunblinds in the cavity. Equipped with state-of-the-art sensor technology, it controls shading, monitors the indoor climate, and detects potential problems early on.
