head of controlling and financial management (f/m/d)

• Controls the management of seele, Inc. in all economical aspects
• Assists Head of Finance of seele GmbH
• Contributing to and checking plausibility of financial reports
• Contributing to and checking plausibility of financial statements according to US-GAAP and HGB
• Ensure transition of US-GAAP reporting and HGB reporting
• Ensure intercompany coordination regarding financial statements (especially SCHUKO and AEKO)
• Contributing and creation of consolidated financial statements
• Enables exchange of information between seele group and seele, Inc.
• Key User of eGecko
• Advances development of processes, methods, and tools to increase transparency and cost efficiency of decisions
• Handles special tasks for the Board of Directors

Ihr Profil

• 5+ years of professional experience in finance
• 5+ years of managerial experience
• Confidently create financial statements according to HGB; confidently create financial statements according to IFRS and US-GAAP
• Degree in Finance and Controlling
• Aptitude for numbers, as well as highly developed analytical and conceptual understanding
• Knowledge of SAGE 100 Contractor software is a plus
• Supervise the completion of Federal and State tax reporting requirements (including income, property, sales and use, payroll and other local taxes), insurance reports and other reports required by government regulation
• Fluent in German (written and spoken)
• Employs methods for presentations with ease

• In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is between USD $110,000 and $150,000
