façade with sunblinds in the cavity

ISOshade®

ISOshade®: the advanced closed cavity façade

A double-skin façade without a complex design, but with sunblinds in the cavity, smart sensor technology and a user-friendly connection to the building automation system. With ISOshade®, seele combines its in-depth knowledge in façade construction with the latest findings from research and expertise in the digitalisation of buildings.

As an Advanced Closed Cavity Façade (CCF) system, ISOshade® goes one step further by eliminating the need for a ventilation system. Another key advantage is the easy access provided by a maintenance panel. The façade is closed, but not hermetically sealed.

What makes ISOshade® advanced?

  • no active ventilation in the cavity
  • protected sunshading elements
  • easy access to sunblinds with maintenance panel
  • reduced heating and cooling costs
  • no wind noise, no cleaning effort

internet of things (IoT) and artificial intelligence in ISOshade®

The integrated sensor technology analyses the temperature, air pressure and relative humidity in the cavity between the panes as well as the temperatures and brightness inside the room and outside. Based on this data, the solar shading system is automatically controlled and, if necessary, the air exchange in the cavity is activated. In the future, ISOshade® will be a self-learning façade system (AI-based) that can process weather data and act with foresight.
