Capricorn bridge: New project in Dusseldorf
The FLOAT office building designed by architect Renzo Piano was built in Dusseldorf's so called Medienhafen (media harbour). This is now to be connected to the Capricorn building on the opposite side of the street by a spectacular pedestrian bridge made of steel and glass. seele is realizing the design of Gatermann + Schossig Architekten GmbH. The 35m long steel-glass construction consists of a closed, tubular grid shell with glazing made of approx. 60 trapezoidal and triangular insulating glass units.
