Messeturm Frankfurt: 17m high glass façade for the entrance lobby

07/31/2019 In 1991 the architect Helmut Jahn designed the Messeturm Frankfurt, the second tallest building in Germany. As part of a redesign of the lobby on the ground floor, seele was commissioned to design, manufacture and install a 1,800 sqm steel and glass façade for this entrance area.

The highlight of the façade are the large insulating glass units, which are a real eye-catcher with their 17m height. Tuesday, 30-07-2019, the time had come: The first glass pane was installed. The panes are the largest, cold bent insulating glass units ever installed in a high-rise building.
