New maintenance system for the filigree roof construction of the Maximilian Museum

04/23/2019 Recently assembly work was carried out at the barrel-vault glass roof of the Maximilian Museum in Augsburg, which was realized by seele in 1999: So far they used ladders for cleaning and maintenance work. This work is now facilitated by a maintenance system designed by seele.

A graceful barrel-vault roof of glass constructed by seele spans the inner courtyard of the Maximilian Museum in Augsburg. In order to reach the entire roof during maintenance and cleaning work, seele last installed an maintenance system. This was first assembled in front of the museum and then lifted onto the roof of the inner courtyard via the front part of the building. In the future, the maintenance system will enable professional cleaning and maintenance of the technically outstanding all-glass shell construction.
