seele counts on close cooperation with educational establishments

02/13/2017 Factory tours and visits to project sites are giving a great insight to seele's competences.

seele offers colleges and universities opportunities to visit the company’s international locations to gain insights into our practical work. We have been cultivating good relationships for many years, for example, with HTL Kramsach in Austria. This cooperation led to an excursion to London, the home of many seele projects. During the trip, the students of the advanced glass technology course visited architectural highlights featuring spectacular building envelopes by seele. Those projects included the roof over King’s Cross station, the glass façades and roof to the Aquatics Centre, the membrane roof for Canary Wharf Crossrail Station and the glass enclosure around the Cutty Sark museum ship. Architect and engineer Lisamarie Villegas Ambia from seele UK explained the projects to the students. Such detailed information helps to understand the practical side of design methods and will be especially valuable for the upcoming diploma projects.

Studies and training ‒ a career with façade specialist seele starts here.
