Parallel to the light eyes, seele is erecting the access structures to the underground train shed of the new Stuttgart Main Station. A total of three striking steel and glass structures with automatic door systems will in future mark the main entrances to the concourse. To achieve this, seele is using a total of 288 tons of steel with 1,059 milled nodes and more than 2,200 trigonal glass units.

The video shows how seele is currently installing the grid shell at Kurt-Georg-Kiesinger Platz at the northern end of the construction site, and how the Staatsgalerie grid shell is taking shape at the southern end at the same time. The film shows interesting details and explains the assembly work.
