lobby of the messeturm frankfurt shines in new splendour

For the expansion and modernisation of the lobby of the MesseTurm Frankfurt, seele created a glass façade and an illuminated point-supported glass wall for the lobby interior.

17 m high curved glass panels

The tower gains additional usable space on all four sides through an exterior façade made of curved laminated glass. Stainless steel columns support the curved glass panels, which stand approximately 17 m tall. Steel-framed glass roofs cover these façades, with the roof beams fastened to the vertical steel columns where they meet.

wall of curved glass and light

In the lobby, visitors are greeted by a circular light wall. seele made this possible by installing point-supported hot-bent glass panels with translucent interlayers and LED panels that illuminate the steel-and-glass façade from behind.
