During your apprenticeship, you will work at the intersection of IT and the business departments. You will learn to identify requirements for digital solutions, analyse data, and design business processes in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will  work at the intersection of business and IT, support digitalisation projects, and help improve business processes through modern technologies.

The apprenticeship programme for Digitalisation Management Assistants (m/f/d) typically lasts 3 years. Under certain conditions – such as holding a high school diploma or having excellent grades – the programme may be shortened.

For this apprenticeship, you should:

• have at least a high school diploma,
• be interested in IT and digitalisation,
• be able to think logically and analytically, 
• enjoy working in a team and on a computer.

During the training programme, you will learn, among other things, to:

• analyse digital business processes,
• gather requirements from business departments,
• evaluate and prepare data,
• evaluate software solutions,
• support IT projects,
• understand business contexts,
• use modern information and communication systems.

In addition, you will gain insights into various areas of the company and their digital processes.

You will work with project management tools, as well as MS Office programs and inventory management systems. You will be introduced to these programs step by step.

The programme combines both areas. You will work with digital technologies and IT systems while also learning about business processes and operational procedures. This will give you a broad understanding of digital transformation in companies.

No. During your training, you will get to know various areas of the business and work with different departments. These may include, for example, purchasing, production, finance, or project management.

On your first day at seele in Gersthofen near Augsburg, you will meet the other apprentices, dual-study students, and your trainers. You will learn about the company and take part in exciting tours of our production facilities and the entire site.

After a shared lunch, you will be welcomed by your mentor, who will support you during your first weeks and help you settle in quickly. You will then get to know the team you will be working with during your first year of training.

Vocational school classes are held in block weeks in Augsburg. During these school blocks, you will learn the theoretical fundamentals of the profession and delve deeper into topics related to economics, business processes, IT systems, project management, and digitalisation.

By alternating between vocational school and the workplace, you can apply what you have learned directly in practice and continuously expand your expertise. The combination of theoretical instruction and practical training creates a solid foundation for successfully completing your apprenticeship.

The goal of the apprenticeship programme at seele is to offer you a permanent position. This is also reflected in our consistently high retention rate. If both parties are satisfied with the apprenticeship and the terms of future employment are suitable for both you and the company, there is nothing standing in the way of your permanent hire.

As you gain more professional experience, you will have the opportunity to take on increasing amounts of responsibility within the team. In addition, after completing your training, you can pursue further education in areas such as digital transformation management, IT project management, or IT consulting.

During your training, you will work under our flex-time policy. This allows you to organise your workday flexibly within the specified time frames.

The training allowance varies depending on the year of training. In the first year of training, the allowance is €1,100 gross and increases in subsequent years.

As an apprentice (m/f/d) at seele GmbH in Gersthofen, you will receive 30 days of annual leave. You can also request special leave if needed.

Apprenticeship contract

If, after the interview, you can see yourself starting your apprenticeship with us and we believe you would be a great addition to our team, we will arrange a further meeting to sign your apprenticeship contract. If you are under 18, your parents or legal guardians are also welcome to attend.

Your apprenticeship will then begin on 1 September, and we look forward to welcoming you to the seele team.
