Gold-coloured kiosk with an extraordinary view of Hong Kong Island

11/07/2019 seele realized a kiosk of a special kind: It has the shape of a cube measuring 5 x 5 x 5m and consists of a steel substructure with gold-coloured cladding made of anodised aluminium.

On the promenade of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, a new art and design district was created with the "Victoria Dockside". A kiosk with special features has been realized on the Avenue of Stars, designed by the architects OMA and Ronald Lu & Partners. The golden kiosk in the form of a cube is set in scene by LED strips. A special highlight is that the kiosk is to represent the basket of a hot-air balloon and that's why a steel cable construction will be installed on the roof, on which a large, illuminated balloon will be placed. This makes it an eye-catcher especially for the opposite Hong Kong Island.
