On October 7, 2019 in the session between 14:30 and 16:30 pm, Dr. Fabian Schmid will give an insight into the research project DigitalTWIN, which will develop digital tools and methods in order to bring together and automate services, processes and procedures along the construction value-creation chain of the construction industry until 2021. In particular, he will discuss Use Case 3 "On-site assembly support for gridshell with real-time measurements and visualization".
On the other hand, Dr. Martien Teich will give a lecture on "The future of widespan glass construction: Challenging projects of the seele group" on 9 October 2019 in the session between 09:00 and 11:00. He will discuss large all-glass constructions, minimalistic detailing and moving structures.
